Angela Scott came to Compass + Nail looking to break out of the industry mold that defined the women’s boutique shoe business, seeking a new concept of her brand and a scalable business model. Compass + Nail defined the Loyalty Architecture as well as wrote the operational Loyalty Business Plan leveraging Angie’s mission reimagining what it means to be a woman in the workplace. 

Focus

The approach centered around a customer that values her own ability to self-express and own her world. The direction focused on professional female empowerment, and with it a new brand articulation, re-architecture of the website, optimized automated emails, a new distribution strategy, establishment of brand equity metrics, and a new communication strategy and editorial calendar.

Demonstrated Impact

The results were game-changing. The company has scaled from a sub $1M fledgling startup to revenue in the 8-figures with 3x year-over-year growth. Not only is the business scaling profitably, the brand has changed the perception of professional women’s workwear.
